In 1966, company founder Hans-Jürgen Essig introduced the impact mole and soil displacement machine to the market, making the trenchless laying and renovation of pipes, cables and other supply lines possible and thus creating a small revolution in the construction industry. As a pioneer in the manufacturing of impact moles and dynamic pipe ramming systems, ESSIG GmbH & Co KG quickly captured the market and now sells its products all over the world.

Today the family business is still run in the original Essig family way – with entrepreneurial spirit, heart and soul. For over five decades, ESSIG GmbH & Co KG has been an established player in the construction industry and a reliable partner for its customers.
